detailed problem description I have this set to auto-update. It gets about 85% through, then freezes.

Answer:
Sorry, there is only auomatic update of security policy but not of Sax2. The newest released version is V4.0, please download it from http://www.ids-sax2.com/Trialdownloads.htm.
